Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive patient assessment and direct primary care for patients from newborns through geriatrics following clinic protocols
Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
Perform diagnostic evaluations, order and interpret tests, and manage acute and chronic conditions
Educate patients and families on preventive care, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions
Document patient encounters accurately and maintain continuity of care within clinic workflows
Participate in quality improvement activities and follow adopted clinical protocols to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current California RN and Nurse Practitioner license required
Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
Current AHA BLS certification required
AHA ACLS certification required if submitting for inpatient privileges
Primary care clinic experience required; experience across lifespan (newborn to geriatric) preferred
Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

Education

Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and clinical decision-making across the lifespan
Familiarity with primary care clinic workflows and family practice protocols
Ability to follow and apply clinical protocols under physician supervision
Strong communication skills with patients and interdisciplinary teams
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish) are highly advantageous
Comfort managing both preventive and acute care in a busy clinic setting
