Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate emergency nursing care to patients of all ages
• Assess and triage patients in a fast-paced emergency department
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation in Point Click EMR
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain a safe environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Iowa or compact state required
• Minimum 3 years of recent emergency room nursing experience
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and ATT
• Experience with Point Click EMR preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and every 4th weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and quick decision-making in high-stress situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Knowledge of ACLS and PALS algorithms
• Adaptability to changing patient conditions and workload
