Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the rehabilitation department to deliver high-quality patient care
• Oversee patient evaluations and ensure effective, individualized treatment plans are in place
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Manage department operations, including budgeting, scheduling, and compliance with regulations
• Mentor and support rehab therapists to promote professional growth and excellence
• Ensure adherence to federal, state, and facility policies, Medicare/Medicaid guidelines, and best practices

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted California license as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech-Language Pathologist
• Previous experience in rehabilitation leadership or supervisory role preferred
• Not open to COTA or PTA candidates as this is a Director-level position
• New graduates are not eligible for this role
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation therapy practices and Medicare/Medicaid regulations
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and develop a multidisciplinary rehab team
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Financial acumen for budgeting, productivity, and resource management
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
