Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal therapy to support patients' oral health.
• Take and process dental X-rays with precision and care.
• Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately.
• Screen patients for signs of oral disease and report findings to the dentist.
• Provide personalized oral hygiene education and preventive care instructions.
• Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean, safe clinical environment.
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth patient care.

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Massachusetts.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program.
• Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental instruments, sterilization, and infection control protocols.
• Knowledge of digital radiography and dental imaging.
• Experience with electronic dental records.
• Understanding of periodontal disease and preventive care.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
