Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver gentle, thorough dental cleanings for pediatric patients
• Assess oral health and document any concerns with precision
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and confidence
• Educate young patients and their families on proper oral hygiene habits
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure smooth, efficient visits
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment for all

Qualifications

• Active Maryland Dental Hygienist license in good standing
• Current CPR/BLS certification for healthcare providers
• Experience with pediatric patients is a big plus
• Excellent communication skills and a warm, chairside manner
• Ability to adapt quickly to a new office environment for a one-day assignment

Knowledge & Skills

• Thorough knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Proficiency with dental radiography and digital imaging
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Comfortable working with children and families
• Attention to infection control and sterilization standards
