Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care with a gentle, patient-centered approach
• Perform thorough cleanings, scaling, and root planing to maintain oral health
• Take and interpret dental X-rays to aid in diagnosis
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Collaborate with dentists to build personalized treatment plans
• Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for every patient

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in the state of Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Compassionate and strong communication skills
• Clinical experience in dental hygiene is a plus, but new graduates are welcome

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in dental prophylaxis and periodontal therapy
• Understanding of radiographic safety and imaging techniques
• Familiarity with EHR and dental practice management software
• Patient education skills that make oral health easy to understand
