Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Support nursing staff by taking vitals and reporting changes in patient condition
Assist with safe patient transfers and mobility, prioritizing dignity and comfort
Maintain accurate documentation of care and communicate clearly with the care team
Help create a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients
Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care

Qualifications

Current and active CNA certification required
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and mobility assistance
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to pass background check and meet facility health requirements

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care techniques and infection control
Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
Skilled in safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Professionalism, empathy, and strong interpersonal skills
