Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers to keep patients safe
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to the nursing team
• Support patients with meals, feeding, and hydration
• Maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe patient environment
• Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in California (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift as needed for patient care
• Comfortable working overnight shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Understanding of basic patient care principles
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Skill in using vital signs monitoring equipment
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
• Strong interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and families
