Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, and coagulation
• Apply your expertise in blood banking to ensure safe and compatible transfusions
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accuracy and quality control
• Analyze test results and report findings to physicians to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment
• Adhere to strict safety and regulatory standards to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient care

Qualifications

• Current California CLS or MLS license (must be active)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Blood bank experience required
• TB clearance within the past 12 months
• Ability to work NOC shifts and a 7 on/7 off schedule
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of clinical laboratory science and generalist testing
• Proficiency in blood bank procedures including type and screen, crossmatch, and antibody identification
• Experience with laboratory information systems and quality control
• Excellent problem-solving skills to troubleshoot instruments and test results
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with the healthcare team
