Roles & Responsibilities

Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and support functional mobility
Implement individualized treatment plans to promote recovery and independence
Monitor and accurately document patient progress and outcomes
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care
Ensure compliance with facility policies and state regulations

Qualifications

Active California COTA license required
Current BLS certification required
SNF experience preferred
Strong clinical reasoning and hands-on therapy skills
Excellent communication skills for teamwork and patient interaction
Available to start ASAP and open to Full-Time, Contract, or PRN roles

Knowledge & Skills

Occupational therapy approaches for SNF populations
Assessment and training for ADLs and functional mobility
Skilled documentation and progress tracking
Interdisciplinary collaboration with PTs, nurses, and other clinicians
Knowledge of facility and state regulatory requirements
Strong communication and patient-centered care techniques
Ability to follow treatment plans under OT supervision
