Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Take and record vital signs accurately, reporting changes promptly
Support safe transfers and mobility while using proper body mechanics
Assist nursing staff with treatments and documentation to ensure continuity of care
Maintain a clean, comfortable environment and follow infection-control practices
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and families to support well-being
Contribute to a positive team culture by collaborating with colleagues and leaders

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential in good standing
Willingness to complete facility-required background checks and health screenings
Basic life support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
Compassionate bedside manner and ability to work as part of a care team
Reliable, punctual, and able to follow clinical procedures and documentation standards

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals: bathing, grooming, feeding, toileting
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Safe transfer and positioning techniques
Infection control and standard precautions
Clear documentation and effective communication with the care team
Strong interpersonal skills and resident-centered approach
