Location: Orwigsburg, PA

Start Date: 05-08-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 4-hour shifts; specific days and start/end times to be confirmed with scheduling (total hours per shift: 4 hours)

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting with dignity and compassion
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to the nursing team
Provide safe and attentive patient transport and mobility assistance
Maintain clear, timely documentation to support continuity of care
Help maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Communicate effectively with nurses, therapists, patients, and families to support excellent care

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
Active ability to work in Pennsylvania and comply with facility credentialing
Comfortable assisting with personal care and patient mobility
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain

Education

High School Diploma or GED preferred
Current CNA certification (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and safe patient handling practices
Good communication and bedside manner
Time management and reliability in a fast-paced environment
Team collaboration and following care plans
