Contract Type: Perm

Shift Type: 3 × 12-hour night shifts per week (overnight). Exact start/end times to be confirmed with scheduling (night shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Bill Rate: $22.42 - $31.97/hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding) with dignity and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately to support resident care plans
Perform safe resident transfers (bed, chair, wheelchair) and turning/repositioning to preserve mobility and skin integrity
Respond promptly to resident calls and provide compassionate, timely assistance
Observe and report changes in skin integrity and general condition to nursing staff
Maintain cleanliness of resident care areas and restock supplies to ensure a comfortable environment
Collect and communicate relevant information from caregivers, nurses, and providers for continuity of care
Document care and observations clearly and professionally

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and collaborate with long-term care teams
Strong English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
Experience providing ADLs, taking vital signs, and performing resident transfers preferred

Education

Current California CNA license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Competence with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Accurate vital signs measurement and documentation
Resident transfer and mobility techniques
Skin integrity observation and pressure injury prevention
Infection control and maintaining cleanliness in care areas
Effective documentation and information collection from caregivers and providers
Resident-centered approach and strong interpersonal skills

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500.00
Experience-based pay scale with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
