Contract Type: Per-Diem

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics
Monitor and promptly report changes in resident condition to nursing staff
Support mealtime assistance and feeding when needed
Maintain accurate documentation and charting of care provided
Create a warm, respectful environment that preserves resident dignity and comfort

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (Pennsylvania certification expected for this facility)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass required background checks and health screenings
Strong interpersonal skills and a caring attitude toward residents
Previous experience in long-term care or similar settings is a plus, new graduates welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and observation skills
Infection control and hygiene best practices
Basic charting and documentation
Good communication and teamwork with nursing staff and residents
Time management and ability to work in a fast-paced care setting
