Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, supporting activities of daily living with dignity
• Assist with bathing, dressing, feeding and mobility while promoting independence
• Take and record vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the nursing team
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
• Document resident care and observations clearly in facility records
• Collaborate with nurses and other caregivers to deliver coordinated, person-centered care

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (eligible to work in Pennsylvania)
• Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred or willing to obtain
• Comfortable with patient handling and safe transfer techniques
• Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, team-oriented approach

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control practices
• Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
• Familiarity with resident safety, mobility assistance and fall prevention
• Comfortable with basic clinical documentation and verbal reporting
• Good interpersonal skills for working with residents, families and the care team
