Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate care and assistance to residents with daily activities
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning for comfort and safety
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment for residents
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure the highest quality of life

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Connecticut required
• Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care procedures and safety protocols
• Ability to lift, turn, and transfer patients using proper techniques
• Understanding of infection control practices
• Empathy and patience in caring for elderly or disabled individuals
