Start Date: 08-09-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: 2026-08-09 (Sunday), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Shift 2, 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support with activities of daily living
- Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
- Support residents with meals and hydration while monitoring intake and preferences
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents and families
- Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
- Respect residents' dignity, privacy, and independence during every interaction
- Follow facility protocols, infection control standards, and safety guidelines
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
- Current BLS/CPR certification is required
- Must bring a state or federal issued photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
- Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but we welcome new grads
- Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting and transferring residents
- Must pass required background checks and comply with facility policies
- Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills are a must
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid understanding of resident care techniques, including safe transfers and infection control
- Ability to observe and report subtle changes in resident condition
- Empathy and patience when caring for seniors
- Strong teamwork and clear communication skills
- Time management skills to prioritize resident needs
- Basic computer skills for documentation
