Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 2026-08-09 (Sunday), 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Shift 2, 30-minute meal break)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support with activities of daily living
  • Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
  • Take and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
  • Support residents with meals and hydration while monitoring intake and preferences
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for residents and families
  • Document care provided accurately and communicate effectively with the care team
  • Respect residents' dignity, privacy, and independence during every interaction
  • Follow facility protocols, infection control standards, and safety guidelines

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
  • Current BLS/CPR certification is required
  • Must bring a state or federal issued photo ID to the facility and wear a photo badge at all times
  • Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus, but we welcome new grads
  • Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting and transferring residents
  • Must pass required background checks and comply with facility policies
  • Compassion, reliability, and strong communication skills are a must

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of resident care techniques, including safe transfers and infection control
  • Ability to observe and report subtle changes in resident condition
  • Empathy and patience when caring for seniors
  • Strong teamwork and clear communication skills
  • Time management skills to prioritize resident needs
  • Basic computer skills for documentation
