Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, person-centered care to residents, treating each individual with dignity and respect.
  • Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding to promote independence.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any changes in residents' conditions to the nursing team.
  • Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families, making a real difference in their lives.

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification preferred.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dependable with a positive attitude.
  • Prior experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of basic patient care techniques and safety procedures.
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients using proper body mechanics.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and observation.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to connect with residents and families.
  • Knowledge of infection control and hygiene standards.
  • Time management skills to handle a dynamic environment.
