Location: Mount Olive, NC

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem (days vary), 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM Day shift

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $30 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on each shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform patient assessments and document changes in condition
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Maintain clear, timely charting in the facility’s record system
Educate patients and families about care plans and safe transitions
Support smooth handoffs and continuity of care between shifts

Qualifications

Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina required
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification required; additional certifications a plus
Active clinical skills with comfort in medication administration and patient assessment
Ability to work independently on per diem assignments and integrate with existing teams
Proof of required immunizations and background checks as per facility policy

Education

Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Clear communication and teamwork skills with patients and staff
Comfortable learning and using electronic medical record systems
Time management and the ability to prioritize during busy shifts
