Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight hours
• Perform timely medication administration and accurate documentation
• Assess patients, monitor conditions, and escalate concerns to providers
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans
• Support admissions, discharges, and safe patient transfers
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted LPN or RN license (eligible to practice in New Mexico)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS a plus where applicable
• Previous experience in long-term care, med-surg, or post-acute settings is preferred
• Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude

Education

• LPN: Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
• RN: Graduate of an accredited associate or bachelor nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in medication administration and accurate charting
• Solid patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Comfortable using electronic health record systems
• Skilled at time management during overnight shifts and handoffs
• Knowledge of infection control practices and safety protocols
