Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality therapeutic interventions
• Implement treatment plans and progress documented patient care under PT supervision
• Provide compassionate hands-on care to help patients improve mobility and independence
• Educate patients and caregivers on home programs and safe mobility techniques
• Document patient progress accurately in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with the therapy team to optimize patient outcomes and throughput
• Maintain a safe, clean treatment environment and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

• Active California PTA license (required)
• Current BLS/CPR certification (required)
• Previous outpatient or rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and rehabilitation techniques
• Familiarity with mobility assistance, transfers, and gait training
• Skilled in patient education and coaching for home exercise programs
• Comfortable with documentation best practices and basic EMR usage
• Strong interpersonal and time-management skills
• Ability to adapt treatments to individual patient needs and goals
