Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Days to be scheduled, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (Day shift)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and resident changes accurately and promptly
Support safe mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
Communicate observations and resident needs clearly to nurses and interdisciplinary team members
Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for each resident
Respect resident rights and privacy while building rapport and trust

Qualifications

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (required)
State registration as a CNA or equivalent documentation to practice in New Mexico
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or willingness to obtain promptly
Previous hands-on resident care experience preferred but enthusiastic new CNAs are welcome
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and health screenings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential required

Knowledge & Skills

Comfort with direct patient care and personal support tasks
Basic knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
Ability to accurately document care and report changes
Good communication and teamwork skills with residents, families, and staff
Dependability, positive attitude, and a commitment to resident dignity
