Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and assess patient response
• Manage mechanical ventilators including PB840, PB980, Philips V60, and Hamilton C1
• Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and adjust care plans
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment use

Qualifications

• Current RRT or CRT certification from the NBRC
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• PALS and NRP certifications (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience
• Experience with MEDITECH charting system
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures and protocols
• Proficient in ventilator management and troubleshooting
• Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
