Roles & Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans to help patients reach their communication and swallowing goals
• Document all services in compliance with regulations and facility standards, ensuring accurate and timely records
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families to build a supportive environment for recovery
• Maintain compliance with infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
• Current Maryland SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills to connect with patients and teams
• A passion for helping others regain their communication and swallowing abilities

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in speech, language, and swallowing therapy for a wide range of patient needs
• Expert in patient evaluation, treatment planning, and clinical problem solving
• Excellent documentation habits to stay compliant with facility and regulatory standards
• Team player who thrives in an interdisciplinary care setting
