Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during the assigned shift
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Respond promptly to patient and family needs and communicate concerns to providers
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure continuity of care during handoff

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state licensure required for practice)
• BLS certification required; ACLS or other specialty certifications encouraged where applicable
• Prior acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred for per-diem shifts
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently during assigned shifts and integrate into existing teams

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and patient assessment
• Comfortable using electronic medical records and documenting per facility standards
• Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and care teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with safety protocols, infection control, and clinical best practices
