Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess and monitor critically ill patients, adjusting care plans as needed
Administer medications, IV therapies and titrate drips safely and accurately
Operate and interpret advanced monitoring and ventilator support
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care
Document assessments, interventions and patient responses clearly in the chart
Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, codes and rapid responses
Educate patients and families with compassion, helping them navigate care decisions

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — California preferred
Prior ICU experience (confidence in caring for critically ill patients)
Basic Life Support (BLS) required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Comfortable with ventilator management, vasoactive drips and complex monitoring
Ability to work per diem shifts and adapt to fast-paced environments
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
BSN preferred where available

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and prioritization
Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
Ventilator basics and airway management
Infusion therapy and titration of vasoactive medications
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation best practices
Patient/family education and compassionate communication
