Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure their comfort and safety
• Take and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing staff
• Help with feeding, nutrition, and hydration, monitoring intake and output
• Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, adhering to infection control protocols
• Document patient care accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in California
• Current BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Compassionate, patient-centered attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds (with proper technique)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of basic nursing assistant techniques and procedures
• Proficiency in taking and recording vital signs
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy regulations
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Strong interpersonal skills and empathy for patients and families
