Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to residents in a shared role across two facilities
- Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
- Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques for continued success
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with all regulations
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
- Certification by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in functional assessments and treatment planning
- Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and adaptive equipment
- Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Time management and organizational skills
