Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to residents in a shared role across two facilities
• Assess patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans to improve daily living skills
• Implement therapeutic interventions and monitor progress, adjusting plans as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality care
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques for continued success
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with all regulations

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State
• Certification by NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in functional assessments and treatment planning
• Knowledge of therapeutic modalities and adaptive equipment
• Proficiency in electronic documentation systems
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Time management and organizational skills
