Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day shift, 30-minute meal break)
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations to understand each resident's functional needs and goals.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that help residents regain independence in daily activities.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure holistic, patient-centered rehabilitation.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on adaptive techniques and home safety strategies.
- Document progress accurately and adjust treatment interventions as needed to maximize outcomes.
- Advocate for each resident's highest level of function and quality of life.
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Vermont or eligibility to obtain one before start.
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab setting preferred but not required.
- Must be comfortable with geriatric patient population.

- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to design creative, meaningful interventions
- Knowledge of Medicare documentation and reimbursement guidelines
- Team collaboration and adaptability
- Patient education and motivational interviewing skills
