Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in an urgent care setting
  • Triage patients promptly and accurately to determine the urgency of care
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered by providers
  • Perform wound care, splinting, and other minor procedures
  • Collaborate with physicians, PAs, and NPs to deliver seamless patient care
  • Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment in compliance with infection control standards

Qualifications

  • Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Experience in urgent care, emergency, or critical care nursing is a plus
  • Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Knowledge & Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Strong patient advocacy and education skills
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety standards
