Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgery
- Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure seamless recovery transitions
- Administer medications and interventions to promote swift healing
- Educate patients and families on post-op care for confident discharges
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum 1 year of PACU or critical care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and ability to thrive in high-acuity settings
Education
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in post-anesthesia recovery protocols
- Proficiency with monitoring equipment and emergency response
- Excellent communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments
- Calm under pressure with a patient-centered approach
