Shift Type: Night shift (NOC), 3x12-hour shifts per week; exact schedule provided upon offer
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the NICU nursing team during night shifts
- Coordinate patient care for our tiniest patients and their families
- Ensure evidence-based practices and safety standards are met
- Mentor and support staff, fostering a collaborative environment
- Manage admissions, discharges, and emergency situations with confidence
- Partner with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in California (or compact state)
- Solid NICU experience - you know your way around the unit
- Leadership experience in a charge nurse or supervisory role
- BLS certification required
- DCI/BVP certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Must pass background check and health screening
Knowledge & Skills
- Expert knowledge of NICU care standards and developmental care
- Strong leadership and delegation skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
- Critical thinking and quick decision-making in high-pressure situations
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and patient documentation
- Compassionate, family-centered approach to care
