Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patient respiratory status
• Provide respiratory treatments and monitor patient responses to care
• Evaluate the effectiveness of respiratory interventions and adjust plans as needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, health, and wellness
• Collaborate with the acute care team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in an acute hospital setting
• Experience with infants and pediatrics
• Current PALS certification
• Active Oregon state license or eligibility to obtain one

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment skills
• Knowledge of respiratory treatments and therapies
• Pediatric and infant respiratory care
• Acute care experience
• Patient education and communication skills
• PALS certified
