Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate respiratory care to patients across acute and critical care settings.
- Assess, monitor, and manage patients' respiratory status, adjusting therapies as needed.
- Administer breathing treatments, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation.
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop and refine care plans.
- Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and home care techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Respond quickly to respiratory emergencies and code situations.
Qualifications
- Active Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
- Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and health screening requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of respiratory therapy modalities, including oxygen therapy and mechanical ventilation.
- Ability to interpret patient data and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
- Compassionate approach to patient education and support.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation.
