Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and reassessments for diverse patient populations including pediatric, geriatric, and general
• Administer medications following the six rights and monitor for adverse reactions
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care plans
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status, responding to changes per ACLS protocol
• Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and pain management
• Assist with procedures and perform technical skills across multiple departments

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in Emergency Department and Medical-Surgical/Progressive Care
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire or compact state
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications (AHA)
• PALS or ENPC certification required within 6 months of hire
• Willingness to float across units and work as a resource nurse
• Rural/small facility experience highly preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medication administration and IV therapy
• Ability to manage hemodynamic status and fluid/electrolyte balance
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Ability to remain flexible and organized in stressful situations
