Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac telemetry and interpret rhythms to detect changes in patient status
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to individuals with cardiac conditions
• Administer medications and treatments while prioritizing patient safety
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately and efficiently
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health and discharge instructions

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or a compact state
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Prior telemetry or acute care experience preferred, but strong new graduates are welcome to apply
• Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a team environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of cardiac rhythms and telemetry interpretation
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and accurate documentation
• Ability to prioritize and respond quickly in fast-paced settings
• Compassionate bedside manner and patient advocacy
