Shift Type: Flexible 12-hour shifts, per diem (as needed)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying changes and responding promptly
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as ordered
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Support and educate families, keeping them informed and involved in their child's care
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed electronic health records
- Advocate for the unique needs of children and their families during challenging times
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- Current BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- Experience in pediatric critical care or PICU preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced, high-pressure situations
- Compassion, patience, and a genuine love for working with children

- Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
