Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per diem, as needed; 6-hour shifts with orientation included
Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Support and educate families during challenging times
- Document patient care accurately and maintain a safe environment
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
- PICU or pediatric critical care experience preferred
- BLS and PALS certification required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work flexible, as-needed shifts
Knowledge & Skills
- In-depth knowledge of pediatric physiology and critical care protocols
- Skilled in using electronic health records and monitoring equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Comfortable making quick, evidence-based decisions
- Empathy and emotional resilience in high-stress situations
