Shift Type: Per Diem, 6-hour shifts, days and times vary based on staffing needs
Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients
- Assist the surgical team in the operating room, ensuring a safe and sterile environment
- Prepare operating rooms with all necessary equipment and supplies
- Monitor and advocate for patients during surgical procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best outcomes for children
- Educate and support patients and families throughout the surgical journey
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state
- Current BLS certification; PALS certification preferred
- At least one year of operating room experience, ideally with pediatric patients
- Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Knowledge & Skills
- Thorough understanding of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and OR best practices
- Solid grasp of pediatric anatomy, physiology, and medication calculations
- Skilled in patient assessment, monitoring, and EMR documentation
- Ability to anticipate surgical needs and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
