Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Per Diem - As Needed, 4-hour shifts (schedule varies)
Candidate Pay Rate: $51 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, specialized care to critically ill newborns
- Monitor vital signs and assess neonatal conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of neonatologists and nurses
- Educate and support families during a stressful time
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in Virginia (or compact state)
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 2 years of NICU experience (preferred)
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of neonatal resuscitation and stabilization
- Familiarity with ventilators, monitors, and neonatal equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent assessment and problem-solving skills
- Compassionate bedside manner and family-centered care approach
