Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the Medical ICU
• Monitor vital signs, assess patient conditions, and respond quickly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions as needed
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the care team to create and adjust care plans
• Educate and support patients and their families through challenging moments
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety and infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Critical care or MICU experience preferred
• Ability to provide compassionate care in a high-acuity environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of MICU nursing practices and critical care protocols
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfort with ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to stay calm and organized in fast-paced situations
