Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the oral surgeon during wisdom tooth extraction and other oral surgery procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs including blood pressure and pulse oximetry before, during, and after procedures
• Administer nitrous oxide and assist with IV sedation under supervision
• Take panoramic X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Provide clear post-operative instructions to patients and caregivers
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and treatment rooms for sterile procedures

Qualifications

• Previous experience in oral surgery or dental assisting is highly valued
• Certification in dental assisting (CDA/RDA) is a plus
• Ability to monitor vital signs and respond calmly in clinical situations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced surgical environment
