Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures
• Monitor patient hemodynamics, vital signs, and sedation levels throughout procedures
• Assist the cardiologist by performing scrub and circulating duties in the Cath Lab
• Administer medications and contrast media safely according to established protocols
• Assess, educate, and support patients and their families before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless, high-quality patient care

Qualifications

• Active registered nurse (RN) license in Nevada or a compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Cath Lab experience preferred; strong cardiac assessment skills are a plus
• Ability to work flexible per-diem shifts and pick up call shifts when needed
• Must pass required competency exams, health screenings, and license verification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of cardiac anatomy, hemodynamics, and Cath Lab procedures
• Proficient in sterile technique and infection control practices
• Skilled in cardiac rhythm interpretation and hemodynamic waveform monitoring
• Knowledge of contrast media, anticoagulation, and emergency interventions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to stay calm and act quickly during critical situations
