Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
• Perform thorough cleanings and oral health assessments
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care techniques
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
• Assist the dentist during procedures to ensure a smooth patient experience
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
• Sterilize and organize dental instruments and operatory rooms

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Virginia
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in clinical dental hygiene practice preferred
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work a 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM shift
• Must be detail-oriented and committed to safety standards

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and best practices
• Familiarity with dental software and digital record keeping
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA regulations
• Excellent interpersonal skills for patient education
• Ability to work effectively as part of a dental team
