Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, family-centered care to pediatric patients on the Med/Surg unit
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing interventions
• Administer medications, treatments, and document patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Monitor vital signs and recognize changes in patient condition

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Experience in Med/Surg or Pediatrics preferred, but passionate new grads are welcome to apply
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
• Effective communication with patients, families, and team members
• Accurate documentation and electronic health record proficiency
