Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to Med/Surg patients
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage patient care plans
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain electronic health records
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
• Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Alabama (or compact state)
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Previous Med/Surg or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible per diem shifts

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/Surg nursing principles and best practices
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
• Communication and teamwork in fast-paced environments
