Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to Med/Surg patients with a variety of conditions
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and a smile
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to create tailored care plans
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
• Document patient progress meticulously and advocate for their needs
• Respond quickly to changes in patient status and intervene appropriately

Qualifications

• Current and unencumbered RN license in Louisiana or compact state (we love a travel-friendly license!)
• BLS certification from AHA (required)
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg or acute care experience is a plus
• A can-do attitude and adaptability to new floors and teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of Med/Surg nursing practices
• Comfortable with IV starts, wound care, and medication administration
• Proficient in using EHR systems (Epic is a bonus)
• Ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
