Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse med/surg patient population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on individual patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and discharge planning
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate electronic health records
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate as needed

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Missouri or compact state
• Previous med/surg or acute care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work flexible shifts as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Med/surg nursing principles and best practices
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Electronic health record documentation
• Compassionate communication with patients and families
• Team collaboration and care coordination
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
