Shift Type: Day shift (schedule type: Deferred), with 8-hour, 10-hour, and 16-hour shift options available; exact times and days to be confirmed upon assignment
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to a diverse Med/Surg patient population
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor, assess, and document patient vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatments
- Administer medications and treatments safely while following BLS and ACLS protocols
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Adapt quickly to a new unit culture and build positive relationships with patients, families, and teammates
- Advocate for patient safety and quality outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg nursing experience
- Experience in a Level 1 trauma center or mid-to-large hospital preferred
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and punctuality are essential
- Active and unrestricted RN license in Georgia or compact state
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in medication administration, IV therapy, and patient monitoring
- Comfortable managing a mixed Med/Surg caseload with a 5-6:1 patient ratio
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
- Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
