Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical patients
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
- Maintain thorough and accurate patient documentation
- Uphold the highest standards of quality, safety, and infection control
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or a compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Previous medical-surgical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates with strong clinical rotations are welcome to apply
- Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge of medical-surgical nursing
- Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
- Patient assessment and monitoring skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
- Compassion and empathy when caring for patients and families
